Simple Recipe for Black Bean Flour Tortillas


Black bean flour tortillas topped with lettuce, tomatoes, queso cheese, and sour cream

Leafy Green Lettuce

Slice Half a Small Tomato

Slice Half a Small Onion

One Can of 15.5 Ounces, Low Sodium Black Beans

Cilantro, Cumin, or Seasonings of Choice

A Few Dollops of Sour Cream

Sprinkles of Shredded Queso Cheese

Fajita Flour Tortillas


Cook black beans on medium heat, remove from the stovetop, place in a bowl, and mash the beans with a potato masher or another utensil to create the texture of refried beans, add your favorite seasonings to the black beans and stir, and lastly place all ingredients and toppings on the flour tortillas. Black beans can be replaced with low sodium pinto beans.
